Knowledge partnership
World Waternet is affiliated to Waternet - the public water cycle utility of Amsterdam and surroundings. Waternet is preparing for the future with a powerful research and innovation programme - to introduce new technologies, improve operations, and respond to societal challenges. The programme offers excellent opportunities to partner with leading water organisations. This allows us to tackle the same challenges together.
Background
In 20XX, the public wastewater provider Syndicat Interdépartemental pour l'Assainissement de l'Agglomération Parisienne (SIAAP) and the Waternet, signed their first Memorandum of Understanding to intensify the exchange of knowledge and collaboration on topics related to urban wastewater management.
Projects and acitivities
- Knowledge sharing and collaboration on resource recovery, energy transition, stormwater management, river water quality and the behaviour of emerging substances
- Collaboration in the framework of international research programmes such as Horizon 2020, Interreg, LIFE, to strengthen the opportunities to obtain European funding.
