17 August 2021World Water Week 2021 will take place 23-27 August under the theme Building Resilience Faster. It will be held entirely online, in a digital format designed to ensure that people across the world can collaborate to find solutions to the world’s greatest water-related challenges. We are participating in several sessions to intensify exchange and collaboration on topics related to our Water Operators' Partnerships and the Sarphati Sanitation Challenge pitch-event. Sarphati Sanitation Challenge: seeking innovators in Sanitation Entrepreneurship

Meet the 10 semi-finalists during the special pitch-event of the Sarphati Sanitation Challenge. This challenge supports promising market-based sanitation solutions on their path to scale. It was an open call to entrepreneurs with a viable, scalable and locally-embedded sanitation solution to apply, in order to accelerate access to safe sanitation for all. The winner will be announced at the Amsterdam International Water Week in November 2021 (You are leaving this website).
Youth engagement: Why it matters and how to do it

The session aims to challenge perceptions among water sector stakeholders of what youth engagement means and how it can be put into practice. The Youth Engagement Action Plan – a multi-stakeholder initiative for engaging more young people in the water-related issues that affect them – will be formally launched.
Nature-based Solutions for Water Supply Utilities: Lessons in Project Preparation
